MESSE C Furniture Fair builds on its success
MESSE C Fredericia was filled with beautiful sofas, comfortable armchairs, elegant dining room furniture and much more during this year's edition of MESSE C Furniture Fair.
There was great satisfaction among both organizers and exhibitors when the second edition of MESSE C Furniture Fair, Denmark's new trade and purchasing fair for the furniture industry, ended on Wednesday afternoon in Fredericia.
Overall, the four days of the fair were visited by 1.108 professionals, which was an increase of 21 percent compared to the premiere edition last year.
- We have experienced very positive feedback from visitors and exhibitors, and we believe that this fair fully lives up to our intentions of building on year after year, so that Furniture Fair becomes a firmly established element in the industry's annual cycle. The new initiative this year of gathering the fair in our large hall A was very well received - people were happy with the clarity, the space and the light we have worked with so that the furniture presents itself optimally. So we are here to stay, states Lars Søndergaard, senior project manager at MESSE C.
Morten Bertelsen, sales director at Design Concept Denmark, also expressed great satisfaction on Wednesday afternoon.
- We think it has been a good fair, where it has not only been about inspiration, but where there has also been trading. We have spoken to many of our important customers in Scandinavia, we have been shown our news, and we have nurtured our relationships, so we leave here with a really good feeling. I definitely think we will be there next year too, says Morten Bertelsen.
A positive experience for Swedish Rowico
Joachim Simonsson is also planning a reunion next year - he is Sales Manager at Swedish Rowico, which is not least strong in dining room furniture.
- This is the first time we have exhibited here, after we visited the fair last year and got a good impression. And it has been a positive experience; Monday and Tuesday were especially busy, and we have also had many Norwegian and some Swedish customers visit.
- I think the entire industry is looking for a good, permanent forum to meet at, and Fredericia is a good option, along with Gothenburg, I think. It seems that there is growth potential in Furniture Fair, and that it is attracting more and more interest, says Joachim Simonsson.
Primavera/UpNorthLiving works a lot with the Norwegian market, and they were also happy with the Norwegian touch on the visitor side.
- But in general, there were the customers at the fair that we wanted to see, and we have received both orders and many contacts that will be followed up in the coming weeks. We experienced a good atmosphere; for some, these are difficult times, but people actually seemed optimistic, point out Dan and Malthe Brask.
