About the fair
In 2024, industry representatives and MESSE C in Fredericia joined forces to establish a new unifying forum and a common showcase for the furniture industry with the purchasing fair MESSE C FurnitureFair.
The first edition of the fair took place in April 2025.
Here, the retail sector in the furniture industry was invited to see the latest news and plan for the upcoming season.
The goal was a unifying fair with space for the entire industry under one roof, where the framework was in order and the logistics worked, as well as a location centrally in the middle of the country.
The concept was based on 4 effective trade fair days with a relatively simple set-up, and a cost level adapted to the suppliers' wishes and needs.
Parallel to the fair, the furniture chains had the opportunity to hold their own activities under the same roof.
The first fair was a great success with 60 exhibitors spread over a 10.000 m2 large exhibition area. The fair was visited by professionals from 19 countries.
The debut was followed up with the holding of the second MESSE C FurnitureFair from April 26-29, 2026. Here, 75 exhibitors filled 12.000 m2 located in one combined hall.
The fair had an increase in the number of visitors of 21%.
23% of the guests were foreign, and a total of 542 unique companies were represented.
The next fair will take place on April 25-28, 2027.
